A husband and wife should avoid holding hands in public as it is not seen to be appropriate in the Muslim society we live in today. Whatever a Muslim considers to be bad/inappropriate, it is also bad in the sight of Allāh ﷻ.

The merciful Prophet ﷺ stated that, “Whatever a mu’min believes to be good is good in the sight of Allah عزوجل and whatever a mu’min considers to be bad is bad in the view of Allah”
