Is it appropriate to throw money at a naat-khaan or scholar in a Masjid during a naat or speech?
It is not prohibited to throw money on a naat-khaan or scholar with the intention of appreciation, however if this is done with pride, arrogance, or to show off then it is extremely inappropriate.
In all cases it is more respectable to place the money in his hand or next to him; this is more respectable for the money as well because money is rizq (sustenance) and a blessing from Allah تعالى
Allah تعالى is most knowing.
