QUESTION:

If I am sahib e nisaab, what must I sacrifice as Qurbani during Dhul Hijjah? What is the bare minimum I must sacrifice if I am not in a good financial position? 

ANSWER:

If you are sahib e nisaab (see what a sahib e nisab is on Q-ID0068) then the bare minimum you must sacrifice is either a goat, sheep or 1/7 part of a cow, buffalo or camel.

Hidayah states, “And everyone from them (on whom sacrifice is obligatory) should sacrifice a goat or a cow or camel from seven people (meaning a seventh share).
