QUESTION:
Are they any disliked times to recite the Qur’an?
ANSWER:
The times in which Salah is prohibited, it is also makruh (disliked) to recite the Qur’an.
1) During sunrise
3) When the sun is directly above the head (midday)
4) During sunset
Imam Ahmad Rida writes:
آفتاب نکلتے اور ڈوبتے اور ٹھیک دوپہر کے وقت نماز ناجائز ہے اور تلاوت مکروہ
At the time of sunrise, sunset & at the onset of afternoon, Salah is prohibited and the recitation of the Qur’an is disliked.
