[Q-ID0695] Will the Muslim who passes away during the month of Ramadan enter Jannah (Paradise)?

What do the scholars of the Din and muftis of the Sacred Law state regarding the following issue: Will the Muslim who passes away during the month of Ramadaan enter Jannah (Paradise)? Also, if there is any Hadith or report, could you please mention it with references? Thank you very much.

الجواب بعون الملک الوھاب اللھم ھدایۃ الحق والصواب

Yes! There are glad tidings mentioned in narrations in various books of Ahaadith regarding the individual who passes away in the month of Ramadaan, which are reliable in stating virtues.

As Hazrat e Sayyiduna Abdullah son of Mas’ood (Whom Allah is pleased with) has narrated that the Merciful Prophet ﷺ has stated:

:“مَنْ وَافَقَ مَوْتُهُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ وَافَقَ مَوْتُهُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ عَرَفَةَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ وَافَقَ مَوْتُهُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ صَدَقَةٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ”

Translation: Whomsoever passes away at the end of the month of Ramadaan, he will enter Paradise and Whomsoever passes away on the Day of A’rafah       (it means the 9th of Zul Hijjah) at its end time, will also enter Paradise and the one who passes away in the state of giving charity, that individual will also enter Paradise.

It is cited in Anees ul Waa’idheen (انیس الواعظین) that there is a statement of the Honourable Muhadditheen (May Allah envelop them in His Mercy),

“Whichever Mu’min (Believer) passes away in this month he will enter straight into Paradise, it is as if the Gates of Hell are shut for him.”
