QUESTION:

Whilst doing wudu, if after washing my face, a few drops of used water enter into the water container I am performing wudu from. Is that water still usable to perform wudu?

ANSWER:

Yes, the water in the container can still be used to perform wudu.

In liquids with no qualities (taste, colour & smell) such as used water (al maa ul musta’mal) preponderance is considered according to volume.

As long as the amount of used water entering is not equal or greater than the volume of absolute water in the bucket, the water remains pure and purifying as mentioned in the very first chapter of Nur al Idah.

Allah knows best.
