QUESTION:

I had a dream where I saw the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), before I saw the Beloved Prophet I was attacked by the Dajjal. I didn’t see the Dajjal but he kept grabbing my arms it was so difficult to escape, as soon as I freed one arm he would grab my other arm his force was so strong.

The Dajjal must have grabbed me 3 to 4 times, as soon as I manged to free myself I ran only to find the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) standing. After seeing the Beloved, I started to cry telling them I am not well, as I do have serious back trouble etc, the response I got from the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was go and see Prophet (peace be upon him).

I know this is a self explanatory dream but would it be possible or any guidance, how would I go about seeing the Prophet Isa?

Please keep in mind I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) 3 times in my dreams. The first time he was just sitting and smiling, the second time what I mentioned to you above, and the third time the Beloved Prophet told me to attack Abu Jahl.

I don’t pray much, I only pray Fajr every so often. The other question is about nazar, the evil eye. I’ve had so many Muslims curse me because of my past, would it be possible I could read something to protect me from the evil eye? Sorry for the random stuff at the end I don’t really have any true brothers that I could speak to on a level I hope my question isn’t too much of a burden on you please any advise, I would be grateful.

ANSWER:

The meaning of the dreams is very clear. Dajjal is representative of misguidance. The Prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم) is guiding you to the straight path in all three dreams.

Similarly, Abu Jahl represents ignorance. The blessed prophet of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم) is guiding you to remove ignorance and learn about the prophetic way and seek knowledge. This in turn will keep you protected from tribulations and ignorance. Your actions are presented to the Prophet of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, on a daily basis, A part of an authentic report states, ‘My passing away, also, is an immense good for you: your actions will be shown to me; if I see goodness I shall praise Allah and if I see evil I shall ask forgiveness of Him for you.’

[Narrated by Imam Bazzar in his Musnad and authenticated by Imam Suyuti and others]

Our master I’sa, peace be upon him, is representative of medicine and you are guided in the dream to seek medical treatment for your back.

The best cure for your problems is to attend classes of basic obligatory knowledge. You need to learn the basics of your creed and prayer.

To wake up for the dawn prayer recite Surah Ikhlas three times before sleeping and make a supplication to Allah Most High. This can also be done with the last verse of Surah al Kahf (Chapter 18 of the Qur’an).

Alternatively you can drink a few glasses of water before sleeping. This is guaranteed to get you up early. Sleeping early and avoiding useless night conversations is especially helpful.

To protect yourself from the evil eye recite the last two verses of Surah al Qalam (Chapter 68 of the Qur’an). After reciting these two verses blow upon yourself.

Allah knows best.
