What do the scholars of the Dīn and muftīs of the Sacred Law state regarding the following issue: What do the noble scholars of the mighty Sharī’ah say concerning looking at the Qur’ān, will I get rewarded for that?

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
الجواب بعون الملک الوھاب اللھم ھدایۃ الحق والصواب
Yes indeed! Looking at the Qur’ān is ibādah and a person is rewarded for worship. It is also narrated from ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Abbās (May Allah be pleased with him) that he ﷺ said:
“Looking at the Qur’ān is ibādah.”

Apart from this it is mentioned in a hadīth that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Give your eyes their portion of worship.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ what is their portion of ibādah?” He ﷺ said: “Looking at the Mushaf, contemplating it and considering it’s marvels.”
