QUESTION:
Whilst reciting the Qur’an if the waqt mutlaq with the ط (Taa) appears in the middle of an ayah – do we have to stop? Or is it permissible to continue reading?
ANSWER:
The ط (Ţā) is the symbol of the word Muţlaq (The Absolute Pause). It is better to pause here. After the break, the recitation can continue from the next word.
